At Cadence, your privacy is fundamental to everything we build. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our meeting recording and summarization service. By using Cadence, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
We collect the minimum amount of information necessary to provide and improve our service:
When you create a Cadence account, we collect your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. We also store billing details handled by our payment processor.
When Cadence joins a meeting, we capture audio and generate transcripts, summaries, and action items. This content is stored securely in your account and is visible only to you and the people you choose to share it with. You can delete any recording or transcript at any time.
We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics to understand how Cadence is used and to improve the product. This data does not include the contents of your meetings and cannot be used to identify you personally. Examples include feature usage frequency, session duration, and crash reports.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or meeting content with third parties for their marketing purposes. We will never monetize your data.
Your recordings, transcripts, and account data are stored on encrypted, access-controlled infrastructure. All data in transit is encrypted using TLS, and data at rest is encrypted using AES-256. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored in plaintext.
While we implement commercially reasonable security measures to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your Cadence account.
Cadence uses cookies solely for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party advertising networks. The cookies we use are strictly necessary for the service to function and to keep you signed in securely.
We rely on a limited number of trusted third-party services to operate Cadence, including cloud hosting, AI transcription providers, and our payment processor. These providers are bound by their own privacy and security commitments and are given access only to the minimum information needed to perform their functions.
Conferencing integrations that you connect (such as Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams) are authorized and controlled entirely by you, and can be disconnected at any time.

If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
